Data Harvest Groups new Dynamics System enables teachers to effectively and clearly demonstrate different aspects of Mechanics with accurate and repeatable results for their students.
As part of the Salsus Design team, I managed the project during the concept and development phases. I was able coordinate all of the different aspects of the dynamics set to interact with each other cleanly whilst strictly adhering to the physical limitations of the parts due to scientific accuracy. The development aspect of this project was a particularly challenging one having to develop mechanisms for a spring loaded plunger with 3 force settings, maintaining a low profile at the same time as accommodating space for both the plunger and slots for carts to be stackable and managing interchangeable magnet elements and their interactions between the cart it is mounted to and the track when they are being used as stands.
